Since I got off the train in June, I’ve been busy writing about the experience. The writing journey has been a big trip in of itself. I started with the expectation it would be a post here on my website, but soon found I had 75 pages or more of material. I had a small book!
As I started to envision producing that and sharing it with readers, I realized I didn’t have the full story done yet. With Kristy’s encouragement, and the words of a favorite teacher Meg Tuite, I had to DIG DEEPER.
What I’ve found is a story of discovery, of closure, of finding story not just through a process of extreme observation but of extreme reflection, where the work done off the road is as important as the work done on the road.
The book is called T Is for Train and I hope to have it out by the end of the year. I’ll update this page as I have more details!
